Ambika

Ambika is an Indian film actress. She has acted in a number of South Indian films. She started her career with the Malayalam movie Mamangam in 1979. Within a couple of years she became a busy actress not only in Malayalam, but also in Tamil and Kannada as well. Her sister Radha is also an actress. She acted with Kamal Haasan in many movies and has appeared in glamorous roles in movies such as Kaakki Sattai, Vikram, and Kadhal Parisu. Most of her films have been with stars (such as Dr.Rajkumar, Kamal Hassan, Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Ambarish, Vijayakanth). Bhagyaraj introduced Ambika in his movie "Andha 7 Natgal". Her friend Suhasini Maniratnam helped Ambika with a different hairstyle and outlook in 1987 which extended her film career as a heroine. Getting married, she settled in United States, but returned to India around 1999 and acted in Jodi. Ambika has been acting all tiny roles up to recent release "vel". She will act a heroine in Vikaraman’s forthcoming project "Mariyathai". Captain Vijayakanth would act as dual role.

Poornima

Poornima Jayaram is an Indian film actress of Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. Her pairing with Shankar in Malayalam was a hit. She is married to Tamil director, actor, producer and script-writer Bhagyaraj and has a son Shantanu Bhagyaraj, who is an actor in his own right.  She was a mainstream actress of the 80's.Her daughter Saranya Bhagyaraj debuted in the film Parijatham.
